Irina Lavrinovic is theatermaker, choreograaf, onderzoeker en lichaamsbeoefenaar.
Irina heeft masterdiploma's in theater (LMTA, Litouwen, 2010) en Autonomous Design (KASK, België, 2019). Ze werkt met somatische en extatische lichaams- en stempraktijken. Ze onderzoekt (im)materialiteit, beweging tussen dingen en verkent alternatieve manieren van samenkomen. Haar performancewerken stellen vaak vraagtekens bij de rol van een toeschouwer en bij zijn activiteit en betrokkenheid tijdens de performance. Irinas' werken bevinden zich tussen het artistieke en het ceremoniële, en strekken zich soms uit naar het sociale waar een gevoel van tijdelijke collectiviteit kan ontstaan. Irina speelt graag met de vorm van een live performance medium.
Irina werkt individueel en samen met anderen. Vanaf 2016 vormt ze een artistieke eenheid met Asher Lev waarvan tot nu toe performancewerken werden gepresenteerd in België, Duitsland, Nederland, Italië, Litouwen en Israël. Ze nam deel aan de projecten van Helena Dietrich (Elastic Habitat 2017), Heike Langsdorf (un/settled, By The Sea 2018), Laura Eva Meuris (Newfoundland 2017), Brussels Ensemble en Lazara Rosell Albear (2019), Lilach Pnina Livne (The Thing , 2019) en anderen. Irina nam deel aan The Pool International Platform (bestaande uit leden van na Danceweb 2016), een container voor uitvoerende en beeldende kunstenaars die choreografie onderzoeken, compliceren en herpositioneren; School of Love (vanaf 2017 en lopend), een in België gevestigd platform voor collectieve praktijken die voortkomen uit reflecties over de notie van liefde als een publieke aangelegenheid en een politieke manier van zijn die op scholen zou moeten worden onderwezen; Kratummmmm (vanaf 2018 en lopend), een bende die geluid en stem verzamelt; The New Dionysian Festival (vanaf 2018 en lopend), een radicaal onderzoek naar hedendaagse ceremonie en tijdelijke collectiviteit door middel van kunst, ecologie en trance.

She investigates (im)materiality, movement in between things and explores alternative ways of gathering. Her performance works often questions the role of a spectator as well as its' activity and involvement during the performance. Irinas' works are set between the artistic and the ceremonial, at times extending into the social where a sense of temporary collectivity can emerge. Irina likes to play with the form of a live performance medium.
Irina works individually and together with others. From 2016 she is engaged in an artistic unit with Asher Lev of which performance works have been presented so far in Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy, Lithuania and Israel. She has joined the projects of Helena Dietrich (Elastic Habitat 2017), Heike Langsdorf (un/settled, By The Sea 2018) Laura Eva Meuris (Newfoundland 2017), Brussels Ensemble and Lazara Rosell Albear (2019), Lilach Pnina Livne (The Thing, 2019) and others. Irina took part in The Pool International Platform (comprised of post Danceweb 2016 members), a container for performing and visual artists exploring, complicating and resituating choreography; School of Love (from 2017 and ongoing), a Belgium based platform for collective practices that stem from reflections on the notion of Love as a public concern and a political mode of being that should be taught in schools; Kratummmmm (from 2018 and ongoing), a sound and voice gathering gang; The New Dionysian Festival (from 2018 and ongoing), a radical research exploring contemporary ceremony and temporary collectivity through the mediums of art, ecology and trance.

Irina Lavrinovic est créatrice de performances, chorégraphe, chercheuse et praticienne du corps.
Irina est titulaire de masters en théâtre (LMTA, Lituanie, 2010) et en design autonome ( KASK, Belgique, 2019). Elle travaille avec des pratiques corporelles et vocales somatiques et extatiques. Elle enquête sur l'(im)matérialité, le mouvement entre les choses et explore des manières alternatives de se rassembler. Ses œuvres performatives questionnent souvent le rôle du spectateur ainsi que son activité et son implication lors de la performance. Les œuvres d'Irinas se situent entre l'artistique et le cérémonial, se prolongeant parfois dans le social où un sentiment de collectivité temporaire peut émerger. Irina aime jouer avec la forme d'un support de spectacle vivant.
Irina travaille individuellement et avec d'autres. Irina a participé à la plate-forme internationale The Pool (composée de membres post-Danceweb 2016), un conteneur pour les artistes de la scène et visuels explorant, compliquant et resituant la chorégraphie ; School of Love (depuis 2017 et en cours), une plate-forme belge de pratiques collectives qui découlent de réflexions sur la notion d'amour en tant que préoccupation publique et mode d'être politique qui devrait être enseigné dans les écoles ; Kratummmmm (à partir de 2018 et en cours), un gang de collecte de sons et de voix ; Le New Dionysian Festival (à partir de 2018 et en cours), une recherche radicale explorant la cérémonie contemporaine et la collectivité temporaire à travers les médiums de l'art, de l'écologie et de la transe.
